Educational & Therapeutic Advising
If you are reading this, you likely have a child that you are worried about – and you are looking for answers. Some parents may have an idea of what is needed, while others don’t know what options or resources exist for their teen or young adult child. Although we are accustomed to turning to the internet to find answers, it is quickly apparent that when it comes to finding the right and the best help for our child on-line, the internet becomes an overwhelming “wild west” of a variety of options with no clear way of separating the good programs from those that just look good.
As a certified educational planner and independent educational and therapeutic placement specialist, Jeff has comprehensive knowledge of treatment and placement options. Consultants, like Jeff, who specialize in helping families with at-risk teens have extensive experience working with crisis intervention, mental health symptoms, substance use, challenging, self-defeating behaviors, oppositional/defiant behavior and other emotional/behavioral difficulties, and finding the most suitable solutions.
